Heart Health And Clean Arteries

Clogged arteries are responsible for a number of ailments including heart pain, high blood pressure, and peripheral arterial disease. Many of my male patients are shocked when I tell them that plaque build-up may even be causing their erectile dysfunction. How can that be? All of these conditions stem from the same cause, insufficient blood flow through arteries.

In the first part of this series, you learned how coronary artery disease and blocked arteries could lead to serious health consequences. I recommended some non-drug, non-surgical treatments you can do on your own to both prevent and improve arterial disease and its symptoms.

Now Id like to expand on an alternative method of dissolving plaque and increasing blood flow in arteries using specific vitamins and safe chemical compounds. This therapy is called oral chelation.

What Is Chelation Therapy?

Chelation therapy has been used since about 1955 for treating heart/arterial disease. The idea of using chelation for heart disease sprang from using chelation for toxic lead, arsenic, and mercury levels. A compound called calcium disodium EDTA, an amino acid, binds to those metals. The EDTA-bound metal is then removed from your body through urination.

Using this toxic metal removal model, it was thought that a variation of the same compound, disodium EDTA, would bind to plaque and remove it from arteries. Based on this same principle, oral chelation formulas were created.

Oral Chelation Supplements

People have taken oral chelation supplements for years as an alternative treatment for coronary artery disease. In fact, because of their widespread use, the National Institute of Health recently began a clinical study to document the specific benefits of chelation therapy.

As I tell my patients who ask me about oral chelation formulas, I feel the better ones contain a lot of heart/artery-health promoting vitamins, minerals, and food-derived chemicals that can be of benefit in promoting heart and artery health. Lets look, then, at what I think a good oral chelation supplement might contain:

B-Vitamins like B6, B12, and folic acid, known to be crucial to heart health in reducing homocysteine, a chemical that promotes plaque. They also maintain energy.
Magnesium, potassium, selenium these are heart-healthy minerals that keep heart muscle functioning correctly, regulate heartbeat, and prevent cholesterol from oxidizing and turning into plaque.
Bromelain, malic acid, garlic these food-based compounds from pineapples, green apples, and garlic dissolve saturated fats and prevent them from hardening into plaques.
TMG (trimethylglycine) also known as betaine, derived from beets, this chemical IS actually FDA-approved for treating high homocysteine levels.
EDTA as noted above, this chemical binds to arterial plaque and removes it. EDTA is also FDA, and USDA, approved as a food additive.
NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) – a chemical found in high protein foods, it is an amino acid that, like EDTA, also acts as a toxin binding/removal agent.

How Does Oral Chelation Work?

Oral chelation formulas come in pill form and are taken like you would any other supplement. They go to work by binding to mineral deposits (namely calcium which plaque is), breaking it down and liquefying it so it can be removed from your arteries. Drinking plenty of filtered water daily will help flush the chelated minerals and toxins out of your blood.

Its a good idea not to take any mineral supplements until a few hours after you take a chelation formula as the minerals can be chelated out of your system. Prescription medicine should also be taken a few hours apart from chelation supplements.
Vitamin C and Vitamin E supplements should be taken as they are antioxidants which help prevent oxidation of cholesterol into plaques.

Benefits of Oral Chelation Formulas

There are several arterial health conditions which can benefit from the artery-flushing effects of oral chelation. They are:

Coronary artery disease, or CAD blockages in the heart can cause heart attack.
Peripheral arterial disease, or PAD lack of blood flow to legs and feet causing pain.
Erectile dysfunction resulting from blocked arteries, lack of penile blood flow.
Carotid artery disease decreased blood flow to the brain, can cause stroke.

Although oral chelation therapy may still be a controversial subject, it has its following of loyal supporters. According to Everyday Health, a recent survey of people who used chelation therapy, 62% said it gave them a sense of control over their heart disease. For optimum effectiveness, chelation supplements should be combined with a heart/artery healthy diet, no smoking, and beneficial exercise.

As with any supplement, read labels and be sure you have a quality oral chelation formula with ingredients such as those mentioned above. Consult a doctor familiar with the use of oral chelation formulas. They can monitor you, ensure their correct usage, and avoid any possible adverse effects that may arise.

Cancer Treatment Get Medical Treatment For Prostate, Breast Cancer

medical treatment is improving rapidly. The uprising development of the science and technology, make the medical treatment easier than the previous age. It is now history, when disease are non curable. Or treatment is only registered for the upper class community of the society. Treatment is now affordable and more advanced than the previous era. There has been a massive explosion of life saving treatment in India, and also across the world. Also in the area of breast cancer treatment, many ways has come up and got a huge success.
Within few days, some latest discovery or invention in the world of medical treatment make huge success. And show a new way of success in this area. Doctors determine your breast cancer treatment on the basis of the type of breast cancer, and its stage. The cancer cells are sensitive or not? Also its depends on Overall health and patients own preference. The maximum number of patients chooses surgery for the breast cancer. Some are receive additional treatment, like, Chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy.

Always it considers that to take an advice from other patients who already receive the treatment. Thus you will get little information about the surgery or other treatment process. There has a different type of surgery, such as, removing the breast cancer, removing the entire breast, removing one lymph node etc

Removing the breast cancer – It is called lumpectomy. During this surgery, surgeons remove the tumor and give a small margin of surrounding healthy tissue.

Removing the entire breast – It is called Mastectomy. In this simple surgery, the entire breast tissue removes from the body part.Removing one lymph node: This type of surgery is called as sentinel node biopsy. During this surgery, the effected lymph node removes by the doctor. Removes several lymph nodes, f the cancer is found in sentimental node; then surgeon removes additional lymph from the patients body part. Just like the breast cancer, heart disease is also very common disease among the present age people. Suffering from some heart disease is as common as morning bread butter. The term Heart disease generally refers to any disorder or condition of heart including hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart infection, cardiomyopathy and some other problem of heart.

The main reason of heart disease is consider the high cholesterol. And the symptoms are chest pain weakness etc.Now there are several heart disease treatment is developing with the development of advance technology and progressive research. Before the Treatment starts, there has to do a angiography, another one is cardiograph. After the report has come the treatment is starts to improve blood flow through your arteries. And the heart treatment is different types, such as angioplasty, angiotensin, bypass surgery, pacemaker install etc.

Prostate cancer is generally found among the older male person. This disease has some possible signs. And it is always advice to contact doctor during this problem. Prostate cancer treatment is also developing now days.To cure this problem, some tests and examination is always prescribed, such as DRE or digital rectal exam, prostate specific antigen test or PSA, biopsy, transected biopsy, and transected ultrasound.

Nutrigenomics A New Way To Prevent Cardiovascular Disease

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among men and women in most countries in the world, especially in the United States. It is also projected that in 2020, heart disease and stroke will be the leading cause of death and disability of people around the world.

Contrary to our old belief that cardiovascular disease can only affect the stressed, over-weight, middle-aged men; studies show that it is now prevalent among men, women and children regardless of their age, race and ethnic groups. According to Dr Robert Beaglehole, WHO Director of Chronic Diseases and Health Promotion, “Today, men, women and children are at risk and 80% of the burden is in low- and middle-income countries.

Heart disease and stroke not only take lives, but also cause an enormous economic burden.” This only shows that children are now adopting unhealthy lifestyles. Thus, awareness and education are necessary precautions for heart disease and stroke prevention. Educating people about the effect of food and nutrients to the body would greatly help them to live healthy lives. This will also open there mind that achieving good health need not be expensive. They only need to know what nutrients are needed in their body to improve its immunity against diseases and nutrigenomics will help them understand this.

Cardiovascular disease occurs when our cardiovascular system, -heart, arteries, and veins- malfunctions due to genetic and environmental factors. Atherosclerosis, the building up of fatty substance like cholesterol to the arterial wall, is the underlying cause of this disease. Other cardiovascular diseases include aneurysm, angina, stroke, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction or heart attack, and many others. It was discovered that the process of atherosclerosis starts as early as childhood and eventually develop in to a disease as the child matures.

Tobacco use, lack of physical activity, and poor nutrition are the causes of cardiovascular disease. There is substantial evidence that links diet to the development of heart disease. Dr. Richard M. Fleming identified in his book, “The Healthy Heart Program”, several dietary factors that can lower the risk of heart disease such as reducing saturated fat intakes, reducing consumption of sugary and processed foods, reducing homocysteine levels by supplementation with Vitamins B6 and B12, and folic acid, higher consumption of fruits and vegetables, and cutting back on foods such as red meat, dairy products, poultry and eggs.

This only proves that nutrition plays a vital role in the prevention of this disease. The application of nutrigenomics in relation to cardiovascular disease is a vital tool in improving the patients’ awareness on how unhealthy foods destroy our body’s natural protection against this heart disease.

Cardiovascular disease is treatable and reversible. The therapy for this disease includes alteration in patient’s diet, physical activity, and medical treatments. However, genetic variations produce different responses from patients. This is because each individual has different sensitivity and susceptibility to the disease. Thus, it is important to test the patients to find out their genetic makeup in order to optimize the efficacy of the therapies employed to them.

Researchers and nutrition specialists believe that analyzing the individual nutritional needs and tailoring the food according their genotype will greatly reduce the risk of cardiovascular disorder to people. Studies show the influence of the genetic makeup to the responsiveness or lack of it to dietary factors.

Nutrigenomics aims to develop functional foods that will provide people’s individual nutritional needs by demonstrating how food nutrients affect health and how health foods affect health. Though this field of science is still in its early stages, nutrition specialists have seen its potential for the advancement of health and nutrition technology to combat cardiovascular disease.

Neprinol Reduces Cholesterol And Keeps You Healthy

Neprinol is a useful combination of systemic enzymes and antioxidants which can safeguard your circulatory system along with your immune functions. The enzymes in this supplement help to clear arterial pathways and keep the blood pressure normal. With studies pointing steadily to the fact that heart disease has claimed the maximum victims in the world, it becomes necessary to place a check on it. This enzyme supplement can help get control over the heart problems. By taking just 1 capsule with 8 oz of water between meals you can solve your cholesterol problems and keep your heart in good shape.

Heightened Cholesterol Levels:

Some people develop heart diseases because they inherit it through their genes. But many others are prone to this disease because of poor diet and sedentary lifestyles. They develop high cholesterol levels in their blood which contributes highly to heart diseases. Neprinol can work on this cholesterol and get rid of it, thereby preventing heart diseases. Cholesterol is produced inside our bodies by the liver to further help in the production of certain hormones, creation of cell membranes, Vitamin D and also to carry fat to the various parts of the body. It is needed in moderation inside the body and too much of it is a threat to the heart.

What can Cholesterol Do?

When cholesterol increases, it clogs the arteries and creates plaque which inhibits blood circulation and leads to heart attacks. We get this extra cholesterol through the food that we eat which includes animal fats, dairy products and shellfish. It is not possible to learn about the high levels of cholesterol without getting a blood test done. But when you get to know about the dangerously high levels, you can control it by undergoing weight loss through diet and exercise. By not eating food rich in fats and doing regular exercise, you can control cholesterol. You can also cleanse the blood by taking food rich in antioxidants. Neprinol can be taken daily to help in this process too.

Natural Way of Controlling Cholesterol:

A few days after taking a good diet and doing regular exercise, you will find a decrease in the cholesterol levels. You will lose weight because of a healthy food and exercise regimen which will help to keep the heart in good condition. But if you do not change your lifestyle, then you will be forced to take medications which are known as statins and can have many side effects like high blood pressure. But by taking Neprinol daily, you can not only control cholesterol but also not have any side effects.

How the Enzyme Supplement Helps:

This enzyme supplement replaces the vital enzymes in the body which have been lost due to aging. It is rich in anti-oxidants which help in the breakdown of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and sugars. Along with replenishing the important elements in the body, it also helps in removing the toxins from the body. It also helps to get energy from the undigested food particles in the body. Thus, Neprinol can get the body back into shape.

How depression may affect your heart

Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death worldwide. several risk factors have been identified for the development of cardiovascular disease. the link between depression and cardiac disease has been extensively researched over the past two decades. there is mounting evidence that depression is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and outcomes have been noted to be worse in patients with cardiac disease who are depressed. depression has been associated with blood pressure changes, altered heart rhythms, altered blood clotting and elevated insulin and cholesterol levels.

Depression is a serious medical condition that affects the way a parson thinks, feels and carries out everyday functions. it affects 6% of men and 18% of women in the general population. symptoms of depression include feelings of guilt, hopelessness, worthlessness, persistent sad or anxious mood, loss of interest or pleasure in activities that were once enjoyed, decreased energy, fatigue, poor appetite, insomnia or oversleeping, restlessness, irritability, difficulty remembering, concentrating and making decisions, weight changes and thoughts of death or suicide attempts.

Heart disease includes two conditions called angina pectoris and acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack. Interruption of the blood supply to the heart via the coronary blood vessels as result of narrowing or clogging of these vessels leads to coronary artery disease. The heart responds to this disease with pain called angina. This pain is felt in the center of the chest and radiates to the jaw, left arm and shoulder. When the blood supply is cut off completely to the heart and the heart tissue starts to die, the result is a heart attack.

Research has shown that people with heart disease are more likely to suffer from depression than healthy people and people with established depression are at greater risk of developing heart disease. People with heart disease who are depressed have an increased risk of death after a heart attack compare to those who are not depressed. After a heart attack the incidence of major depression is from 15% to 20%, and an additional 27% of patients develop minor depression.

A number of mechanisms have been suggested for the increased risk for heart disease seen in depressed persons. These mechanisms include excess cortisol, altered autonomic function and increased platelet activation. Increased brain activity especially in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical axis and increased platelet activity commonly seen in depressed persons ultimately result in vascular damage and plaque formation. Patients with depression commonly show a decreased variability in their heart rate brought about by altered autonomic function. Decreased heart rate variability is associated with greater variation in blood pressure, increased risk of ventricular arrythmias and sudden death.

Diagnosing depression in persons with heart disease may be difficult as these persons may develop certain symptoms as poor appetite and fatigue which are also symptoms of depression. Careful observation and history taking may be essential to making a diagnosis in such patients. Prescription antidepressant medication particularly the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are safe and well tolerated in patients with heart disease. The selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors have a good cardiac profile, and are effective in alleviating symptoms of depression. However, it is important to note that some antidepressant medications raise the level of some cardiac drugs by interfering with their metabolism. Patients taking cardiac drugs and antidepressants should be carefulyl monitored for possible side effects and adverse effects of these medications. Other treatment alternatives include psychotherapy, exercise and social support.
